Open your shop with Melage Beauty!

  • If you need to get in touch with a shop owner about an item on Melage Beauty Marketplace or if you want to discuss your order, you can reach out to the shop owner directly
     
  • On the shop owners' page, click the Message button. If you aren’t already signed in to your Melage Beauty account, you’ll be prompted to sign in
     
  • Type your question into the message box
     
  • The shop owner will be notified of the new conversation and can respond
     
  • Each shop on Melage Beauty Marketplace is independent. Shop owners are independent businesses that sell their own inventory and manage their own orders
     
  • Contacting a shop owner through Message is the best way to get information about an item, or after your purchase, resolve any issues you may have had with your order. Each seller manages their own orders and can help with shipping updates, cancellations, refunds, and returns

To track your order: 

  1. Sign in to your account on MelageBeauty.com  

  2. Select My Orders 

  3. Find your order on the My Orders page 

  4. Under Action, you will see a Tracking Details link.  If the seller added tracking information, you can check when your order should arrive 

  5. Select Message Vendor to contact the vendor directly

  • If you need to return or exchange an item, the seller you purchased your order from is the best person to help you. You may be able to return, exchange, or request a refund for your order depending on the shop’s policies. Each seller manages their own orders and can help with shipping updates, cancellations, refunds, and returns. 

  • After notifying the seller of your return or exchange request via the Message button on the shop's page, and if the seller is willing to accept this return, be sure to settle on the details before returning the item: 

    • Where you should send the return 

    • What time frame does the shop owner wish to receive the return 

    • Who will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, if not written in the shop's policies 

    • What shipping method to use 

  • Each shop owner on Melage Beauty is responsible for their own policies regarding refunds, exchanges, and returns. Policies vary from shop to shop. 

  • Before making a purchase, you should review the shop’s Returns & Exchange policy. You can find the shop’s policies in their shop under Policies

  • Your subscription will auto-renew if you do not cancel before your subscription period ends.

  • Once you cancel your subscription, you will be able to operate your shop as normal up to the final date of your subscription.  

How to turn on Vacation Mode 

  • You have the flexibility to turn on Vacation Mode when you need to take a break from managing your shop on the Melage Beauty Marketplace, pausing your shop with peace of mind. To turn on Vacation Mode

    • Sign in to the Melage vendor panel 

    • Click Shop Details

    • Under Vacation Mode, a green "off" button will appear to show your current vacation mode status. Click the green "off" button to turn your Vacation Mode on.

    • A prompt will appear to confirm your choice to turn on Vacation Mode

    • Your Vacation Mode status will change to the red "on" button

    • Fill in a temporary shop announcement to let shoppers know your shop status by going to: 

      • Content Management, Shop Content Management, About. You can add a shop status update in your About section. 

 

  • Vacation Mode lets you put your shop on hold for a period of time, and is helpful if: 

    • You're temporarily unable to run your shop due to an emergency, traveling, sick, or other life concerns that may arise. 

    • You need a quick break to catch up on current orders. 

 

While your shop is on Vacation Mode 

  • Your shop will still appear on the Melage Beauty Marketplace if a customer searches for your exact shop name 

  • Once a customer selects your shop name, a notification will appear to let customers know your shop is temporarily closed. 

  • All product items will be searchable, but a buyer will not be able to add the items to their cart. 

  • Customers will not be able to use the Message feature on your shop's page to send new messages. 

  • You will have access to the vendor panel, all previous orders and messages.  

  • You will be able to make edits to current listings as you would when your shop is not in vacation mode 

  • You will not be able to upload new products 

  • You can issue refunds and cancel orders 

  • If a shop has auto-renew turned on for listings in their shop, these listings set to auto-renew will continue to be charged a renewal fee when they expire. All subscriptions will auto-renew as well. 

  • When your shop is in Vacation Mode, you must still uphold your commitments as a seller to your customers. Fulfilling sold orders or participating in any current messages is required. 

  • You can make edits to current listings the same as you would when your shop is not on vacation. 

  • You can list new items and save them as drafts. You won’t be charged a listing fee until the listing is actually published once you return from vacation. 

  • If you have auto-renew turned on for listings in your shop, these listings set to auto-renew will continue to be charged a renewal fee when they expire. 

  

How to turn off Vacation Mode 

  • Sign in to the Melage vendor panel  

  • Click Shop Details 

  • Under Vacation Mode, a red "on" button will appear to show your current vacation mode status. Click the red "on" button to turn your Vacation Mode off. 

  • A prompt will appear to confirm your choice to turn off Vacation Mode 

  • Your Vacation Mode status will change to the green "on" button 

  • Don't forget to update your shop announcement if you originally made a note that your shop was temporarily closed by going to: 

    • Content Management, Shop Content Management, About.  

  • Sign in to the Melage vendor panel  

  • Click Chat Notification 

  • You will see all new messages in this tab 

  • Click Chat History to view all previous messages

These basic selling requirements will help ensure that selling products on Melage Beauty Marketplace will be seamless and enjoyable.

a. Products that can be sold on Melage Beauty:

Melage Beauty Marketplace is your premiere hub for all things beauty. Buyers love Melage Beauty Marketplace because they can find everything they need to meet their beauty needs in one spot. Whether they come here to purchase their favorite beauty products or try out the newest trending brands, Melage Beauty Marketplace is their go-to destination. Therefore, everything listed for sale on the marketplace must be beauty or cosmetics related. This includes:

  • Hair Products (i.e. shampoo, conditioners, moisturizers) -Skincare (i.e. cleansers, toners, mask)
  • Makeup (i.e. foundation, lipstick, eyeshadow) -Bath & Body (i.e. body lotions, bath bombs, hand & foot care) -Nails (i.e. nail polish, foot scrub, manicure and pedicure tools)
  • Fragrance (i.e. men and women's perfume)
  • Tools & Accessories (i.e makeup brushes, facial rollers, headbands)

 

b. Products that cannot be sold on the Melage Beauty Marketplace

The following products cannot be sold on the Melage Beauty Marketplace, even if they fall into one of the categories listed in section (a), unless you receive written consent from Melage Beauty, LLC.

  • Clothing
  • Shoes
  • Jewelry
  • Electronics
  • Books
  • Household Items
  • Supplements
  • Food or Beverages
  • Reselling is not allowed on Melage Beauty. Reselling refers to listing an item that is owned by another company.
  • Products that have medical claims not approved by the FDA In addition to the products listed in section (b), prohibited items, services, and items that violate our intellectual property policies are not allowed to be sold on the Melage Beauty Marketplace.
